Bathymetric Surveys

Bathymetric surveys provide an accurate, detailed view of features below the water’s surface. Capturing a comprehensive bottom profile of a body of water provides not only the water's depth but also detail on the underwater topography and can help in identifying any potential obstructions that may exist.

Bathymetric surveys can be used for a variety of purposes. The data is essential for land development projects near water bodies, building bridges, directional drilling, flood assessments and volumetric calculations as well as being used to identify the movement of sediment and other deposits over time.

Using state-of-the-art Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) equipment, Adaptive Surveys can accurately map below the water and process the collected data safely and efficiently. We offer Bathymetric surveys as a stand-alone survey or in addition to our topographic surveys allowing all information from above and below the water to be presented as one project and in one coordinate system.

Our survey vessel complies with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Small Commercial Vessel and Pilot Boat Code of Practice. Our teams are fully trained and qualified to operate safely; this includes VHF and First Aid certification.

We understand every project is unique, we offer custom survey solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of your project. Whether it’s a complex survey or a small-scale inland water mapping, we’ve got you covered.
