Bathymetric surveys provide an accurate, detailed view of features below the water’s surface. This typically contains underwater topography of a body of water including seabed, elevations, shorelines, underwater habitats and ecosystems.
Bathymetric surveys can be used for various purposes. The data is essential for land development projects near water bodies, building bridges, directional drilling, flood assessments and space calculations.
Using state-of-the-art Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) equipment Adaptive Surveys can accurately map below the water and process collected data safely and efficiently. We offer Bathymetric surveys as a stand-alone survey or in addition to our topographic surveys allowing all information from above and below the water to be presented as one project and in one coordinate system.
Our survey vessel complies with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Small Commercial Vessel and Pilot Boat Code of Practice. Our teams are fully trained and qualified to operate safely; this includes VHF and First Aid certification.
We understand every project is unique, we offer custom survey solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of your project. Whether it’s a complex survey or a small-scale inland water mapping, we’ve got you covered.
